EClass Messenger Features List

EClass Messenger is developed for distant learning purpose. The main aim of this messenger is to bridge the gap between real classrooms and distant learning.

Real time audio & video broadcasting from classroom:

This software will provide real time audio and video with perfect quality. This audio and video session can be downloaded with the institute�s permission in current session or later from archive as it will depend on the policy of the institutes which are providing distant learning.

Interaction between student and teacher:

Interaction between teacher and student is very important in any real classroom teaching or distant learning. Our software will provide this facility in distant learning. Students can ask questions during real class with the use of this software which can be answered by teacher if "questions allowed" option is ON in teacher's client. Teacher's wish is given priority here, so teacher can allow students to ask question during class or he can select particular students to be allowed (i.e. top 10 students in overall grading or from last exams grading) or teacher can block this option which won't allow him to disturb during class.

Interaction among students in a session:

Interaction among students is very necessary in distant learning to give you a feeling of real classroom. It develops competitiveness among students which is helpful in steep learning. Using this software, student can interact with other students by voice/cam chat, smileys, whiteboard which is supporting subject libraries.

Mathematics library:

Where math�s equations, symbols, theorem�s can be drawn with a single click of mouse and can be shown to whole class or particular student using whiteboard.

Chemistry library:

Already existing periodic table, elements symbols, formula for basic compounds, bonding structure, and compound structure can be made with simple mouse clicks and can be broadcast on whiteboard.

Physics library:

It includes free body diagram drawing with mouse clicks, Greek symbols, drawings supporting optics (i.e. lens, rays),

***Other subjects libraries can be added easily and will be available to download for students.


Online exams and problem solving:

Online exams and problem solving facility is also there. Where teacher can create online questions or upload quizzes directly from files to solve in the class and those can be accessed by distant learning students in real time. Answers will be submitted to teacher and can be graded later. So in this way distant learning students can cope with real classroom students and teacher can keep records of performance of students.

Downloading and uploading of Classroom material:

Downloading and uploading of classroom audio and video facility will also be there, which can be activated by institute as it will depend on institute�s policy which is offering distant learning course. Students can also download and upload materials among each other using file transfer. Students can upload their doubts file which can be answered by teacher later when it's possible for him.
